you can buy an older version of turbo cadd on ebay for under $30 - there is
a "revolve" command - draw 1/2 profile and choose revolve and you can then see your work in 3-D - fast, reasonably painless (once you know the secret word "revolve") - "turnedoutright" wrote in message ... Adobe Illustrator has a 3D Revolve command too; I do my basic profiles
using Bezier curves and then revolve them if someone else wants to see what it'll look like. Not that Illustrator is cheap or intuitive, unless you use it for other things; but it's what I happen to have, and it does a great job! |
