Highland Hardware Bodger tools

Has anyone used Highland Hardware's Bodger lathe chisels? Any
opinions. They acknowlege their Chinese manufacturer, but claim that
they have used them in their school and been happy with them.

Prices are significantly lower than most other brands.

Anyone have experience with them??

I haven't tried that brand, but probably use tools just like them but with a
different name on them..
As far as country of origin, (here come the flames), I have no problem with off
shore stuff as long as they exercise quality control..

Most of my lathe tools, lathes (both Jet), drill drivers (Craftsman) and power
tools are made off shore and are very good quality..
It's kind of hard to find stuff made in the USA anymore, and harder to justify
the higher price for it..

Folks used to complain about the quality of steel from Japan... Of course,
they've probably not had experience with their swords.....YMWV
