Review of Bill Grumbine's DVD

My review of Bill's Bowl Turning Made Easy video is now in the
articles section of WoodCentral.com

http://www.woodcentral.com/cgi-bin/r...cles_549.shtml

Although this is my first post in this group, many users here will
recognize me from the wreck (rec.woodworking). I'm just saying that so
you won't think I'm some no account, ne'er do well doing a fly by spam
drop.

Oh, and I have three lathes, so I sort of fit in...I think.

My right elbow is unblemished.. lol

on the mini, you had to remove the tail stock to turn a bowl, or you couldn't
get the chisel in position...
Luckily, just before getting a bigger lathe, I watched Bill's video (which I
would recommend to anyone that makes shavings with a lathe) and learned to take
the live center out... I'm sure that Bill learned this the hard way (ouch!) and
I'm sure glad that I didn't have to..

Hi Martin, I posted a correction in English that hasn't made it to rcw
as of now. That sure was a poor 'w'elcome. Sorry Rod.
