I've heard that laying unglazed porcelain floor tiles can be
problematic as opposed to ceramic ones. One problem being with the
grouting, staining the tile or 'clogging up' the textured surface. Any

First of all do a test on a spare tile and see what happens

You could try using a washboy to remove all the grout quickly to reduce the
exposure of the grout to the surface of the tile

Some light coloured porcelain can stain even if you are quick with the
grout. Usually only pigmented grouts with strong colours .White and grey
grouts don't have dye added but beware of black and brown grouts and indeed
other strong colours.

Best action is to apply a sealer over the tiles first
