Ways of removing a wall hung cast iron boiler?
 

Just installed a combi in my house last week and had to remove the old
cast iron wall hung boiler. This is not the first cast iron boiler
I've had to remove but anyone want to share their methods of removing
this heavy basket off the wall without ending up in casualty. I get a
grip at the top of the chassis (or use a rope)and lift it from a step
ladder with someone holding the weight below. Can it ever be a one-man
job or do I need to get down the gym?

Ok then, the pieces of the boiler will weigh less than the total
weight of all the parts combined so remove the disassembled parts
individually.

I'd use my BobCat, but then I have an 8 foot hole in my kitchen wall
at the moment .......
