digital measure
 

Hi im looking for digital measures and damp detectors, as anyone used
these? It does not have to have pin point accuracy, i have looked on
Srewfix and they have a Makita measure for £39.99

and the only damp detector is the Draper for £12.99

I bought the makita laser tape from Travis perkins about a month ago, it says it has an accuracy tolerance of + - 1mm over a 10 meter distance. problem is , it isnt that accurate. Its more like 10mm, and the unit HAS to be held perfectly still while taking the reading otherwise the overall measurement ends up being 20 - 40 mm out, which is a bit awkward as the bottom of the unit is rounded so it rocks on the wall , floor etc.
