Hi,

I'm looking for a service/workshop manual for a Kubota KX36 mini
excavator.
My local Kubota dealer tells me I can't buy one.

On ebay there are manuals for KX36-2 and KH36 excavators.
Does anyone know if there is much difference?

I've seen JCB machines which look like rebadged Kubota ones.
Does anyone know the equivalent JCB model number for a KX36?

Failing that, anyone got a manual I could copy in return for a nice
bottle of malt or somesuch?

Their website has some specs and pictures of the KX36-2a so you could
have a look and see if it's the same?

The dealers will probably pretend there are no manuals so they can
fleece you themselves but the site mentions technical and service
updates in one section so there looks to be parts lists etc somewhere
in their system.

I'd give them a mail and say the dealer is being unhelpful regarding
their smashing product etc. and can they help? ;-)
