IS IT OK FOR A NEW CARPET TO BE FITTED OVER THE TOP OF LAMINATE FLOORING OR

First, typing in caps is known as shouting on newsgroups and rather
frowned upon.

I don't think you'd *have* to remove it, but doors etc might need
trimming to close over a carpet as well. And it comes up easily.
