You need clean air room with sealed leaks and a device capable of making
the pressure slightly higher inside. These tend to be quite large and noisy,
but the cool clean air they process I found quite refreshing once you got
the humidity and temperature right. For the home though, that would seem to
be overkill!

The word "humidifier" in that advert is a mistake.

It's just an air ionizer of some sort.

I think Jim is doing a science experiment...

Nope, swamp coolers are much bigger and they arent
any use in high humidity locations, they only work in
low humidity areas.

It describes itself as a humidifier. To do that it requires water. They're also sold as personal coolers - but again the amount of cooling is too insignificant to be useful.

If instead it's an ioniser only, you can get a refund as it's not as described.

Do you mean your 'new' static van stinks of cats **** ?.

If so, getting rid of that smell in a house sometimes
involves removal and replacement of saturated flooring,
never mind just the carpets and furniture.

Have fun :-)

Supplied with an unfused travel adapter, illegal for an appliance
which should be supplied with a captive adapter on the foreign plug.

Wouldn't bother Crazy Jim, he doesn't follow the rules ...

Cheers, T i m

Do people still think that ozone is good for you? Isn't that why the
seaside became popular from 1800, as people thought that there was loads
of ozone there (actually salt spray and rotting seaweed)?

(Another reason was the introduction of cheap rail tickets and bathing
beauties before the swimsuit was invented.)
