It was delivered to the Post Office, and the subpostmaster took it home at lunchtime and dropped it over the back fence (we were back fence neighbours). In those days we also got parcels delivered by the bus company (and it wasn't a Postbus!) Owain |

the good old days...great service...all we have now are a bunch of fly men that knock your door with a feather if at all I had that last week - I was in, two dogs were in, we never heard a thing when an expected, expensive parcel was delivered, dumped at the back door by DHL. The only indication that a delivery had been made, was by checking the tracking, which showed 'delivered'. |
