Why do we have modesty panels on desks?
I just find they get in the way when trying to get at wires behind them.

You actually do the tests? When I did PAT testing I just glanced at them. Not falling apart, probably ok, add sticker. A contractor electrician once PAT tested and failed a 5V power supply due to an exposed *5 volt* wire, which he claimed was dangerous. I removed the red warning sticker, continued using it, and called him a moron. His response was something along the lines of "well I dunno, I just follow the instructions". |

Actually probably all desks need it for support. A long piece of furniture needs some kind of support to keep it at right angles.

I used to live in a 3 bedroom house that had a living room we seldom used. The other room was a small kitchen (cooking area) and we had table to eat on, couch, easy chair, and the TV set in that room. You sat in the kitchen in preference to the living room? Why? The house was around 1100 sqft. Twice my original size before the extension. I'd still have been short of space. |

Don't need a huge house to have a table you eat off. Some houses don't have a dining room. Bu5 most do have a table you can eat off. And hardly any of those tables have a modesty panel,. you pathetic excuse for a bull**** artist/troll. You eat on the sofa in the lounge. Even when they do that, they normally do have a table you can eat off too and hardly any of those tables have a modesty panel,. you pathetic excuse for a bull**** artist/troll |
