Suppose that makes a change from all the dead horse flogging these days.

Don't use a mask, most are pretty pointless. Actually infection as such is
quite hard, but the reason for the spread is the sheer number of
interactions, and the number of people who have the virus, and are shedding
it without their knowledge.

The virus is heavier than air. With normal breathing it falls to the
ground within a few feet. If you cough or sneeze, it goes a lot further. A
mask by nature should help contain it.

They do discourage you from picking your nose,
sucking your thump and doing stuff like that which
can infect you when out and about or when in the
presence of an infected person.

Actually infection as such is quite hard,

That’s bull****.

but the reason for the spread is the sheer number of interactions,

And how many infected people there are out there now.

and the number of people who have the virus, and are shedding it without
their knowledge.

Because of the significant time between being infected
and showing any symptoms at all. Quite a few of the
infected never show any symptoms at all.

I don't think you can really say that something a small as a virus is
"heavier than air". The droplets carrying it might be heavier than
air though.
