DIY cock up for the day
I had to drill a 24mm hole though 400mm of rendered brick wall today. Access was extremely tight and in a very awkward place. With a SDS on hammer I started off with a short drill which went in fairly easily. Changed to the longer drill and continued - this time the drill wasn't moving through the wall - I thought it's hit something hard and exerted a bit more force but the drill was still having problems. Around a minute later it dawned on me that I'd accidentally switched the drill to reverse. It's Dewalt and the forward/reverse is an easily moveable tab incorporated into the trigger. -- mailto : news {at} admac {dot} myzen {dot} co {dot} uk |
