Tailor's tape measure with a loop?
I remember back in the day that waist measurements used to be done with a
tape measure with a brass loop at one end. The measurer put the tape around your waist and then fed it through the loop and pulled gently until it was snug, then read off the reading. All I can find on line at the moment are the budget ones which are just a soft tape with metal ends. I find the simple tapes a bit of a faff, and |I think that to DIY my waist measurement the old style ones would be much easier and more accurate. Google Fu has deserted me for the moment. Anyone know of a source?
