They'll give a better finish, especially on plywood, but they'll be less good for ripping along the grain. Mainly you'll find that ripping works, but has become slower than previously. For typical uses, it'll work fine. Thanks Andy, what about for laminated worktops? It will be better than 20 teeth for laminated worktops - you'll get a smoother finish on the laminate. N.B. Always cut from the underside of the worktop - so that the blade is cutting into the laminate and never out from it. Roger Agree with roger on the above. Also if you have a router, cut oversize and rount to final size for a really clean edge on worktop. Bob |
