It has blades the same as a blade less Dyson.

You could use a diaphragm pump or a screw compressor and have no blades
if you actually wanted a blade less fan.

It would be a good project to make one for the workshop that ran off the
air compressor if anyone wants to make a youtube video.

Ah ... minor point there is a blade ... red plastic one you can see it
fitted. So description is misleading.

This is simply a ducted or shrouded fan
