Do you get a virtual smell, and can you use these virtual shavings in
a rabbit hutch or does that have to be virtual too.

Wonderful! The lady on the sofa has an uncanny resemblance to my wife
(who is also a serious knitter).

A guy is sitting on a sofa next to his mum (presumably) who is knitting.

He dons a virtual reality helmet and virtual reality gloves and turns a moulding on
a virtual reality lathe. At the same time a 3d printer reproduces the shape
he turned, but vertically like kebab inside a 3d printer cabinet which looked
to all intents and purposes like a microwave. The only difficult to believe bit
was the speed of the 3D printer.
