Yes, there is one hell of a problem with the immense level of
debt that Greece was stupid enough to get into, but it makes
absolutely no sense at all to be advocating that the banks that
were actually stupid enough to lend them that utterly insane
amount of money should just accept the fact that they are never
going to get it back and to just go bankrupt as a result and
bring down the entire financial system of europe in the process.

And the Greeks themselves are too stupid to just
default like Iceland did and give up on the eurozone.
