I like it in the sense that:

1) if I want something where B&Q are competitive
2) they actually have it
3) I can wait till the next Wednesday

then I use it! Usually on the same day as getting pet food and using my
card for that, just down the road.

BTW, I call it a 'wrinkly card'.

Depends on what it is (often paint). And Screwfix incurs a substantial
fuel cost for me...compared to B&Q which is right next to where I often
shop anyway.

In case this isn't a wind up, I'll give the reason I do it.

If they are foolish enough to pass on or sell your email address to
others, you can tell who the originators are, dump any emails to that
address and swear never to darken their ugly door again.

In my case I have so many pointed email addresses that I've invented so
far in the past that I can't remember who they were in many cases. To be
fair, not many have passed on my address.

Depends on what it is (often paint). And Screwfix incurs a substantial
fuel cost for me...compared to B&Q which is right next to where I often
shop anyway.

My Screwfix is about a mile away.
I fell out with B&Q when they tried to charge me 34 quid for 10 solar

was in there ...
I kicked up a right stink.

The £12 price label was on the shelf under the lights. No way should a

My Screwfix is about a mile away.
I fell out with B&Q when they tried to charge me 34 quid for 10 solar
powered garden light. I thought they were £12 which was a bit dear, but
as I was in there ...
I kicked up a right stink.

I can picture it...some people just don't understand how offer and
acceptance work ...

The £12 price label was on the shelf under the lights. No way should a
customer have to check bar codes.

you go to the till and offer to buy at the shelf price....they decline
because it is a mistake.........pounder throws a strop ......pounder gets
ejected

Mr Pounder is an English gentleman, not a 2/3 ****ed up Jock.
Mr Pounder knows how to use acceptable grammar. You type like a Facebook
pikey.
Mr Pounder, as a customer, exercised his rights to complain about shoddy
service.
Remember this, troll. The customer is King.

Who likes the new B&Q Wednesday 10% off old fart card ? .........

Only dickheads.
Screwfix is MUCH cheaper.
Year I know, same company.

Oh yes so it is....what a saving

Depends on what it is (often paint). And Screwfix incurs a
substantial
fuel cost for me...compared to B&Q which is right next to where I
often
shop anyway.

I like it in the sense that:

1) if I want something where B&Q are competitive
2) they actually have it
3) I can wait till the next Wednesday

when you get to our age waiting is not a problem ......

I don't know about that - as someone said on the radio the other day,
"at
your age you shouldn't be buying green bananas".

over at uk.radio.amateur a Stephen Thomas Cole is running a sweepstake
on
when I am going to cark it ....lovely guy ......

Can you please keep this nonsense in the cesspit where it belongs.

Please mind your own business ....

You're posting on a public newsgroup, bozo.

and? .... your point is?
