45 degree elbow for shower head - where to source

Just installed a nice chrome finish shower mixer, hose and head. Feeling pleased with myself ... Too soon!
Problem is I can't get the shower to point where I want it to, even though it's adjustable. Current solution - took the old ( brass finish) 45 degree elbow out of the old shower head ... Now it positions beautifully.

But it needs to be the right colour as one of us is a perfectionist, and I don't know where to source a chrome finish 45 degree elbow to fit into a standard shower hose / head. Any ideas out there would be welcome

Thanks

A picture would help but consider getting the brass one chromed. A
motorcycle shop might chuck it in with a batch of other bits which would be
cheaper than getting it done as a one-off.

Have you tried a small specialist plumbers merchants, rather than one of
the DIY chains? If they haven't either got one in stock or can't order
one, the may suggest an alternative approach. They are often cheaper
than the DIY chains as well.

We've a couple in our area who I've found excellent for both 'bits' and
advice over the years.

Is this what you want?
http://www.clarencewaterfilters.com....r-filters.html

The only problem is that it's in Australia!

Amazon have something similar in USA
http://www.amazon.com/Chrome-Plated-.../dp/B0046A87LO
but that's dearer and has NPT rather than BSP threads.

The right thing must surely be available in the UK - the only problem is
finding it!

If you're really stuck then fem-fems are available in stainless at BES
which would do the job when combined with a threaded nipple.

You may need to use a thread seal rather than the more usual bottom seal
and rubber washer at the shower head but a liquid based thread sealant
could make the build look presentable.

http://www.bes.co.uk/products/165a.asp item 14259 plus 14451 or 14462.

Any chance you could quote a bit of each message to which you're

Find a chromer in your area and get them to lob it into a batch of
whatever they're doing. Cost you a pint.
