Recycling cutting carbon emissions

I suppose that it saves the cost of processing it, but in this case it would probably be far better in land fill. "The fire has been blamed on Chinese lanterns that dropped on the plastics." Interesting to know how they knew. Cheers Dave R |

Clearly the method of storing of inflammable plastic should be re-examined. "Mr Randeniya said it was the 15th fire at a waste-transfer station in the West Midlands this year and said he was calling for a meeting with its operators." So just the one fire due to Chinese lanterns? |

They had a cctv camera on it apparently.
