Shower Curtain Rod

Hi,

just put one of these up. I decided to line it up with the inside of
the bath so that it wouldn't look offset and also so that it wouldn't
be in constant contact with the bath and probably get mouldy quicker.

Trouble is, the curtain billows inwards and it's a bit cramped.

I know this is trivial but where should the rail line up?

Thanks,
Ed.

They do that.

plumb with half-way-up the side of the bath.

You can get curtain hem weights, if you can feed them inside the
bottom hem of the shower curtain and glue them in position it will
reduce the billowing.

Thanks. Do you mean the inside of the bath?

We have a plastic curtain on the shower side inside the bath and a nicer looking fabric that hangs outside the bath. If there was a nice way to join the two together just before they get to the bath rim, that would stop billowing pretty well, since the rim would hold the combined thing in place. Any weights would just be on the fabric side which does not get wet (possibly fixed with velco).
Some suitable glue to fix tags to the outside of the plastic cirtain. would get the ball rolling.
And we could do with a nice new chrome rod.

Simon.
