they hold the frames square in the metal frames.the units are about 12
years old.

Many thanks

I was in the same position regarding such clips for some windows in my
mother's house.

Found them on the web - can't remember where now - and was so disgusted by
the gouging price we decided it made more sense to replace the windows.
Sure it cost a lot more but I couldn't bear to see that much money
basically go down the pan - the windows were never that good and were way
past their best anyway.

But a tip - look very carefully at the clips and try to identify any
markings on them, especially maker's name. That is what enabled my
searches to find what I wanted.

Just to update this question.

I have Everest secondary glazing with the afore-mentioned plastic clips.
I couldn't find replacements anywhere on the internet.
Rang Everest [0800 140 4936]and they cost £5.00 postage for as many as you need, i asked for 40.
I read somewhere they are called Anti-crabbing clips.

Hope that helps anyone googling or searching for this.

For ref, would these be anti-crabbing clips ?

One of the problems in a topic like this, is the
material the item is made from. I have acquired items
for windows, where the "shape" is correct, but if the
item is made of white nylon, the sun ruins it in a
year or two. And then you have to search for some more
of the item.

I would say "go find someone to do 3D printing and make
a copy of the item", but the same problem exists there.
The materials used in 3D printing may not be UV proof, and
a nice looking item may be ruined by the sunlight after
a couple years.
