We are considering DG from Mid-Kent Windows. Anyone have any comments
about them?

Thanks,

Don't know about them. Do know about Croft Glass (T Wells, Hawkhurst and
Hastings): they make (or have made) pretty nice frames, very solid and
the faux wood finish is decent. Can't answer for their fitters though -
only ever had supply only from them.

Therein can lie a problem. Some firms contract the fitting to casual
contractors. Could be variable.

Does E+W not have a sister organisation to The Window Advice Centre in
Scotland who act as a go-between customer and company and get
estimates and check the installation before payment ?

No idea about that company, but in general make sure they are making
the windows from one
of the well-known profile manufacturers - profile22, rehau, eurocell
etc.
And make sure they dont contract out the fitting, and the result
should be OK.
Simon.
