Hi, Ever since a surveyor came around to measure up our house when were selling it I've quite fancied getting the wee laser measuring gadget that he used. I've now got around to look at price ranges and they seem to be 'quite expensive' for a lazy amateur like me. Are there any variations of these measurers that are sub £50 ? There seems to be a gap in the market between using bog standard tape measures and the £200.00 lasers and I just wondered if anyone had filled it with something a little less expensive. Only the ultasonic ones, and they are good to only about 1%. The lasers are good to +/- 3mm or better in 61 metres. 1/8" in 200 feet - which at distance more than about a foot is a lot better. Cheers Steve,
I may try the Plasplugs Ultrasonic measure then. It's got to be more accurate than me and my tape measure. Thanks, Keith In , an infinite number of Steves, in an attempt to produce the entire works of Shakespeare, typed: Keith D wrote: Hi, Ever since a surveyor came around to measure up our house when were selling it I've quite fancied getting the wee laser measuring gadget that he used.
