Default Cannon gas cooker ignition fault

Hello

My mother has a Cannon Chester 10540G freestanding gas cooker. She has told
me that the ignition no longer works, but she can manually light the 4
rings, top oven and grill. The cooker is connected to the mains and the
clock seems ok.

In an attempt to remotely debug this problem, a friend has removed the outer
panels and traced some wires to a blue box (marked BY80016-00) and a round
disk (marked S14K275). The blue box is a spark generator, and the disk
appears to be a varistor. I can get replacements of both (although I can
only find a BY80016-02).

But, are there any other components in the circuit that could also fail? Is
there, for example, a fuse which just supplies power to the ignition circuit
(the clock still works, so the mains plug fuse is ok).

If anyone knows this cooker (or are igintion circuits all pretty similar?),
then I'd be grateful of any help/comments.

Thanks.
