Traps: 38mm vs 76mm
Are there any situations where it's acceptable to use a bottle trap
with a 38mm seal on a kitchen sink or do Building Regs always require a 76mm seal? Also, what's a "half trap"? http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plum.../sd2907/p52069 Isn't it either a trap or just a bit of pipe? |

Who says you have to use a 76mm? - there's no BCO going to look under your sink http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Plum.../sd2907/p52069 Isn't it either a trap or just a bit of pipe? A half trap is just like what's in the picture - you can see that where the trap comes back up, the pipe stops and you need to manually attach a bend to make an entire trap. -- Phil L RSRL Tipster Of The Year 2008 |
