I went for the suggested options of scratching the soft bronze coloured washers (which i dont think were ever curved) and the faces they fit against. I also squeesed the ' U ' shape holder with long handled pliers. It now at least holds up at an angle, but only just. many thanks. p.s. is it me, or are some people decidedly *strange* in these newsgroups ? Unfortunately they are perfectly normal (for them, that is). d Was it ever a 'fact' that the aerial needs to be at an angle? Was it something to do with the polarization of the transmitter? |
