City of Prince Rupert )

Be it remembered that on the 29th day of April, A.D. 1970,
at Prince Rupert, B.C., William GROSVENOR, hereinafter called "the
accused", was tried under Part (XVI) of the Criminal Code upon the
chaqrge that he the accused between the 13th day of February, A.D.
1970 and the 16th day of February, A.D. 1970 both days inclusive, in
the City of Prince Rupert, in the Province of British Columbia,
without reasonable justification or excuse and with intent to extort
money by threatening to prosecute Campbell McLEOD with an offense
under the Companies Act of the Province of British Columbia,
UNLAWFULLY attempted to induce the said Campbell McLEOD to pay him,
the said William GROSVENOR, the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00),

CONTRARY TO THE FORM OF STATUTE IN SUCH CASE MADE AND PROVIDED:

was convicted of the said offense, and the following punishment
was imposed upon him, namely: That the said accused be imprisoned
in the Prince George Regional Goal at Prince George, B.C. for the
term of one (1) day and in addition forfeit and pay the sum of
FOUR HUNDRED ($400.00) dollars, to be applied according to law,
and also pay to the Court the sum of Nil dollars in respect to
costs, and in default of payment of the said sums forthwith or
before 29-Jul-70 to be imprisoned in the Prince George Regional
Goal at Prince George, B.C. for the term of TWO (2) MONTHS
unless the said sums and costs and charges to the said prison
are sooner paid.

Dated this 29th day of Apri., A.D. 1970 at
Prince Rupert, B.C.
