Swimming pool (daft) question

Some hotels on the coast have sea water pools - how do they get the water to
fill them? - is it delivered by tanker - or do they run a pipe out to the
sea and use a pump - or is there a permanent pipe to the sea?

Bag of salt thrown in, I'd have thought.

Ramsgate had a proper seawater pool - 'The Marina'. Bloody good it was,
until the council let it fall to bits and shut it.

There used to be a tidal one in Morecambe

complete with broken bottles and gangrene ...

Typical of councils to let things get beyond economical repair - lack of
basic maintenance.

I was thinking of Mediterranean / Canaries type hotels - not ones filled by
the tide.
