Also hand to keep a few bits spare for the edges of doors if they get chipped. This is for a unit that is sitting next to a door and the edge of the plinth is immediately noticable when entering from the other door. I am talking about the edge you get when you cut 600mm from a 2.4 metre length of plinth not cutting along the length of it to make it narrower. Use a fine toothed handsaw. Mine doesn't chip when I do it. |
