Default Clicking Flourescent Light Fitting

Anything I should worry about? Fitted a 5 ft double flourescent fitting
in the kitchen last weekend, works fine.

But when its off, it sometimes makes regular clicking noises which sound
like they're coming from the starter switches. Always 3 clicks, in a
click----clickclick pattern!

And ideas?

It could be that the fitting is cooling down. The ballast inside does get
hot you know.
