Knotting
When stains have shown through old paintwork does the stained area have to
be taken back to bare wood before applying knotting or can it be applied after a general sanding? Many thanks P |

Many thanks P I had the same problem (lazy builders decorators) and just put knotting on the keyed surface. So far (for one area two years later) the stains have not re-appeared. Malcolm |
