Double-sided tape around the perimeter.

PVA has many a use, just squeeze it on the surface your covering and thin it
out all over, lay vinyl over the top and get a round object(A Bottle) and
roller it over the vinyl to spread the PVA outta the sides.

Ah. ds tape is no good as it has to be watertight, pva is no good as it
wont survive the wet. Silicone I'd rather avoid as its a horror to
clean.

I had some fitted recently in a bathroom, the fitter used an aerosol
adhesive. Try ringing-up somewhere that sells vinyl.

I use aerosol vinyl adhesive, which is intended specifically for this
purpose. Available from any shop that sells vinyl flooring.

Christian.

Then that leaves you Evil Stink or some close relative impact adhesive.
