washing machine rear drum seal

I have a servis washing machine on which i had to remove the rear drum
clamp and seal. unfortunately i cannot get it to seal again.
i have tried reversing the metal clamp but this does not work.
as i cannot remember the correct position of the rubber seal i have a
question;
does the rubber seal go between the drum lip and the back panel lip and
then the metal clamp or does the rubber seal go over both the back
panel lip and drum lip with the clamp going over the rubber seal?
any help would be appreciated.

IME, those seals never reseal once disassembled (unless very new).
When I am going to dismantle a drum, I get a new drum seal first
to use on the reassembly.

CPC may sell them, although I'm not familiar with Servis.
