Hi
I have just had a Micropoint socket installed. This message is to follow-up a query arising from a previous message ('Has the Corgi chap done this properly'). Can anyone direct me to a website, or answer some queries, on Micropoint cooker hoses and connections? Searches bring up lots of for-sale stuff, but no real facts. - Are Micropoint sockets and hoses intended to replace the 'conventional' 1/2" bayonet elbows and matching hoses? - Is the flow-rate through Micropoint systems less than conventional ones? If so is this a problem? - What advantages has Micropoint (i.e. why would you use Micropoint rather than a conventional approach)? - Are there any special considerations needed when using Micropoint? Many thanks Steve |
