Waterside/Culligan MC250 Ultra Water softener query

Hi
We had one of these water softeners fitted during a kitchen refit about
two and a half years ago. The regeneration is automatic.

Earlier this evening I heard the softener running through regeneration
cycle and didn't think anything of it. I went back in the kitchen about
forty minutes later and the unit was still filling with water. I took
the lid off and the water is three of four inches off the top of the
unit. I bearly give the unit a second thought and never look inside it
other than to fill it with salt. Is the quantity of water normal? An
hour later and the thing is still full of water.

I'm going to have a restless night wondering whether it's going to flood
the place.

Thanks for your help.
P

Doesn't sound right. You should have some isolation and bypass valves
nearby. Operate all 3 and get someone in to fix the softener.

Christian.
