Default Trying to track down a part for European light fitting.

Dear all,

I am having a great deal of no success trying to track down a spare
part for the lights in my kitchen (which apparently come from Athens
and are known as Greek fisherman lights). There is a plastic sleeve
which screws into the element and itself has a screw which grips the
screw-fit bulb (i.e. not a bayonet fitting). The business end of the
sleeve has crumbled away with years of exposure to the heat emanating
from the bulb. There is a rather unhelpful picture at
http://www.keme.net/~daj/brokenpart.jpg . I have been to my local
they-stock-everything DIY shop and also to B&Q but neither of them
have anything that fits the bill. Can anyone recommend a UK specialist
supplier of European lighting bits who might be able to assist me? Or
is my best bet to get my local electrician in to fit a new UK-format
light fitting into it?

Many thanks in advance

David James.
