DIYbanter - AEG Washing Machine Quick Help ?

Got that into my shed, cold filll only so at least that's no
problem...however :-)

The blasted thing doesnt work...

What it does is....

Switch on...(any programme at all)
Tries to drain...does this for about 3 minutes
Then the Start/Pause light flashes

Thats it, no more...it can sit like this all night...

Tried every combination...AEG website no help, if the machine has an error
it should display 'Exxx' in the display but it doesnt, just displays the
estimated time to completion (and sits there).

Needless to say, electricity & water supply ARE ok, have whipped the lid off
and checked the water inlet solenoids....they work ... checked all cabling,
all looks good, reseated all cable contacts...

Obviously I don't want to spend 'any' money as its only a temporary thing
:-) So don't want to call an engineer.....

Anyone got ANY idea where to go from here ? Is there a resident AEG expert
out there ? (vain hope ! lol !)

If its been kept in shed perhaps moisture has got into the electronics
and damaged them.
