Special brick ?
I'm edging a paved area by using smooth red engineering bricks on edge.
As well as defining the edge of the area, they also make a neat hard-wearing step and will get a fair amount of abuse. The corner is also a step ( you can walk down on either of two adjacent sides ). Is it possible to get special corner bricks rather than cutting bricks to make mitred joints ? I don't really like the look of running one edge up to the other and then simply running the other one to overlap, but am concerned that mitring will be tricky to get right and will make the corner weaker and therefore prone to being damaged. |
