I'd think with a mill.

Split the block - and then from the open end - axial to the tip of the bullet -
use a T-slot cutter but that makes the slots larger....

One has to drill smaller and then mill out to the bullet size except for
the grease rings. Complex!

I have to read some of Gunners sources.
