WTB...41 Mag mould
Gunner Asch wrote:
Of the 50 some moulds I own..Ive got (2) that cast more than 2 bullets. both Hensley and Gibbs. They are ok if Im wanting to cast a ****load..a ****load of bullets in one caliber at one sitting..but the problem is..Ive only got a 20lb pot (well...3 of them) and I wind up running out of lead far too soon. I continually add lead as I cast, which means my temps are going up and down, often times with issues. So if its ok with you..I think Ill pass on the 6 ganger. I only have a couple .41s, and dont know anyone local to me who has another, so really dont need a ****load of bullets. A couple thousand on hand would do me well for the next 10 yrs or more. I'm not a fan of multi cavity molds. Everything in handloading is based on consistancy. Two cavities, unless they are perfect seems to be counter-productive. I did have a Lee 158g SWC .38 mold that was pretty decent until the sprue plate screw came unhinged. That was a decent two cavity mold.
