OT - Coots
I'm hard of hearing but I still like music and songs.
Some of you meay have a hard time understanding the words those folks are mumbling too. An old lyrics leech has been upgraded and works pretty good. It requires Winamp, I use 2.91 'cause it's simple. Doesn't work with 5.0 or higher. Evillyrics gets almost all newer songs and has karaoke recording with the paid version I think. I got 2182 lyrics files with about 90% success so It seems to work ok. Some I had to look up myself mainly due to misnamed or mistagged files. Missed Bix Beiderbecke - Mississippi Mud, but you can't have it all. Just turn it on and listen or surf or walk off. http://www.evillabs.sk/evillyrics/faq/faq.php http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=winamp http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/ All free of course. There is a little trick to get mp3tag to do a batch genre change, but it will. You'all have fun, I did. Now I have to go find a job, bleech. Got a lead, and may try to start something in Matagorda. Metalworking content: bought a pair of steel toes sneakers 1/2 size too small. They hook one toe on the outside. If I put it in the vise and flatten it some maybe I'll get some more room. Sorta' mushroom it. It's either that or surgery, (on the shoe, not me.) : wws |
