Having trouble finding a rewinder (good one ) for uk model hlv with

220 volt feed motor or finding spare will ship if necessary

I believe Bodine made all the feed motors for Hardinge; have you tried
contacting them to see if they can repair the motor? They may have parts
to repair it rather than rewinding, which I've found to be very
expensive for small DC motors. I think most general rewinding shops send
this sort of thing out to specialists.

Also, make sure that the motor really needs a rewind. After getting a
price of $700 for a new motor, and not much less for a rewind for my
Feeler HLV-H clone feed motor, I discovered the problem was with the
commutator connections and not the windings themselves. A few hours
under a stereo microscope with dental tools and a soldering iron took
care of it.
