I had a set of tools stolen about 15 years ago. Anyone seen it?

Shrug, indeed! I see Kinch is still the center of the universe, at least
to himself. His response to your post comes as no surprise to me. Had
you not quoted it, I'd have missed it, sure. He's the only person on RCM I
have killfiled. Hell, I still even see Cliff's posts if I care to (I
don't). He makes more sense. How sad is that?

You can bet your last buck if it was Kinch's problem he couldn't talk about
it enough. Too bad he doesn't have a little compassion for his fellow man.
I can't imagine a more shallow person.

LOL...Ive been suffering from walking pneumonia for two weeks, leading
up to me collapsing with double pneumonia Friday my wife has been
diagnosed with sleep apnea/COPD and as a result has just had her
drivers license suspended, Ive got huge medical bills I cant pay, and
some dick stole my boat sometime in the last couple weeks. A boat Ive
not been able to use for the past 7 or more years.

Chuckle...Kinch is the least of my problems. He is no more and no less
than a blackhead on a zit on the ass of the world, one easily

Damn, Gunner! Don't mess with the Big P - it still offs people
regularly.

Regards you wife and sleep apnea: I'm still struggling getting used to
my new CPAP unit but can say that it is a big help. It is also something
that is buildable and I'd be happy to shovel information your way if
that helps.

If you can't afford to pay your medical bills, why didn't you sell off
some assets, like that boat?

You're big on personal responsibility, Gunner. Sell some machinery,
sell your car, move to a smaller home. Pay your bills so we taxpayers
aren't stuck with your bills.

Gunner,
Couple of questions:

1. What is COPD?
2. I have had sleep apnea for years now (succesfully treated). How exactly
does the dmv know that your wife has apnea?

You usually have something good to say, so I'd rather not.

In this case, apparently you don't understand why Usenet cannot help you
find stolen property.

And a bit egregious that it is a boat that has been mothballed for 10
years.

True. I assume you wouldn't issue a worldwide Amber Alert if somebody
dragged away a junked boat off the cinderblocks in your back yard.

I know someone in Wisconsin that is storing a Hobie Cat for a guy who
has since died...if you get over this way, and are interested, I'll
hook you up with him. I'm sure you could get it for back-storage fees,

What is the list and how are they marked?

Best is drivers license # and initials.

At least it keeps the shop honest.

I don't reckon I'll see this sailing up one of our creeks, The Potomac

However, I'll keep an eye out for it.:-)

that walking around with pneumonia! Hey! Your wife needs you now, more

Got the boat back today. Lol...Harvey, the local "handicapped"
scavanger had taken it to his house, "because it was just sitting
there and I didnt want it to get stolen"

The sad part is...knowing the guy, he really believed it. So after
discussing the issue with the local deputy, we both came to the
conclusion there would be no point in pressing charges. Harvey is
the smart one of the family and the breadwinner. And while he is
fairly retarded..he does work hard at taking care of his family....

So I promised Harvey that Id put a padlock and a chain on the trailer,
and I thanked him for his looking out for my boat, gave him $10 for
his trouble...and dragged it, both flat tires, the 2 blocks back to
the house.

The gal that told me where it was gets a 6 pack of Bud for her
troubles. She switched from MD wine to Bud....because there is more
calories in the beer...and its her only meal of the day.....

Interesting living on the wrong side of the tracks.....

Good. That sounds appropriate for the situation.

I just got done watching a segment on our local "Northwest Afternoon" where
a woman had grown up (as a child) homeless. She described having to steal
her school clothes and what it was like living in a car, sleeping in a box.

Some folks don't have it near as good as others. We need to recognize that
and show some tolerance.

Amazing stuff.

I went to two different high schools just for fun ! LOL Mon. to A ,
Tue. to B , Wed. to A , ect. The next week I'd switch them ! Some
times I wouldn't go at all. If it had crossed my mind back then I
would have tried to get two diplomas , that would be hard to explain
now wouldn't it !

Drag them puppies through the mud and they will see from a different
perspective. Its the yuppy privileged pricks that should know better
that **** me off.

I'm wondering if Gunner would mind if I watch over a cool vertical
mill for him , for a couple of years.

fairly retarded..he does work hard at taking care of his family....

So after
discussing the issue with the local deputy, we both came to the
conclusion there would be no point in pressing charges.

Gunner,

Are you interested in selling the Hobie? I'd love to have a decent 16'
and I live relatively nearby. (Tempe, AZ) Got pics?

Sure. Bear in mind however that its a 78..and suffered the usual
forehull delam problem. I cut in ports on the top of the hulls, rolled
the thing over and relaminated fresh glass and matting upside down on
the inside of the forehulls. Stiffened the hulls pretty well, but Im
not sure that after all these years, you sheet the main in hard it
would break the forehulls off at the dolphin striker. It would have
to be sailed tenderly for a while to get a feel for it. Or turn it
upside down and give it another layer or two.

Id be happy to sell it, but frankly..you can buy later models dirt
cheap these days.

Ill shoot some pics if you are still interested, or help you find a
better boat.

Got the boat back today. Lol...Harvey, the local "handicapped"

Ill find you one to babysit. If I thought you could haul the
Gorton...Id consider loaning it to you.

Next time you come over to my palatial estate here in the
country...after the slave girls have served up peeled grapes and we
have hung a peasant or two, we can discuss what to do. Oh...do bring
the Rolls...the mistress(s) do so want to frollick in a genuine Gray
Ghost.

The Starbucks folks say the catering will be free, as long as your
entourage promises to give the girls back this time.,, a little less
molested and better tipped.

The Sheik will be hear until Friday..so if you can pop in before
then..perhaps we can shoot a brace of bankers before he leaves.

You know if I could just step through I could have them picked up for
free. A 55 gal. drum for a friend is ok , but when favors are that
heavy they seem to stay. I really need to blindly visit again and
venture into Hell A to see how much trouble I could really get into.

I can dream big, but can never get into vivid slave girl stuff.

A friend of mine, now living in California, was being visited by her
Father, a gentleman with an antipathy towards lawyers and Bankers going
back to the loss of the family ranch when he was a child. Anyway, he chose
the day that some banker decided to shoot up some lawyers at 101 California
Street. Traffic through the city was snarled as it was diverted in
directions it doesn't normally flow by the incident.
As the news came on the car radio, he developed an enormous grin and
intoned something along the lines of "Bankers shooting lawyers? I guess
California isn't all bad."

The most pitiful ones are the ones who now have something, and who have
completely forgotten where they came from. And treat those people badly.
