Make a small parts revolving rack, much like a paper towel or toilet paper tube with the tops screwed to the roller with pan head sheet metal screws. The rack could be of most any length and could be mounted to benchtop, bottom of cabinet or wall. The "roller" ought be octagonal or hex around to accept the flat tops. Identifying parts could be hot glued or whatever to the bottom of the film cans... Bill |

and a piezo igniter to make the spark. You fasten the lid firmly to a piece of wood and when the fuel ignites the canister part flies off a good 20' (other fuels work, this is training wheels for the potato cannon) |

On a similar note, the pyro guys fill them with powder and fireworks
stars, attach a timing fuse, seal them and fire them into the air out of a mortar as a mini aerial bomb. I've never seen it done, but I'm told that they work pretty good for the purpose. Harry C. |
