nano size laser spot welding for stainless steel
 
does anyone know of any technology to weld extremely thin stainless
steel sheets using laser and get nano sized spot size?

If you can define "extremely thin" and "nano sized" that may help?

Nano in electrically engineering terms is defined as 10EE-9
0.000000001 (thats 1 billionth) which is pretty small.

Not True! I'm so good I can hold "nanos" all day! Used to be "tenths".
But with all these now fangled digital tools I'm much better!
