WTB: LARGE ACE and H2O WELDING TANKS...Empty and cheap
Looking for the large welding tanks. Would like to purchase if the
price is right or if someone wants to just get rid of them. Please email or respond if interested in helping me out. Thanks in advance, Greg |

Thanks in advance, Greg Perhaps "ACE" is short for acetylene? Perhaps you are laboring under the delusion that H2O is the chemical formula for oxygen? OK, let's guess that you are looking for oxygen and acetylene tanks. You didn't say where you're located. What if there were some free tanks located in say Nome, Alaska? Are you still interested? Expect to pay about $250 for a pair of owner tanks with a usable welding cart, pair of single-stage regulators, and hoses. Filling a large oxygen tank is now about $90 - let me tell you, it won't be easy to find someone to donate that to you. Filling a large acetylene tank is even more. You might want to consider an oxy-propane setup. Propane is a lot cheaper than acetylene. GWE |
