Default M & m chipper

Just bought a m& m chipper everything works except for the blades possibly,
trying to feed branches through the feed and its not taking them. Any
suggestions? New blades possibly or might even be something els not to sure.
But ya the chipper just isnt wanting to take any branches what so ever !
