Cutting Aluminium Flat Bar with a Table Saw???

Being that I wish I had space and money for every tool under the sun
but don't, and being that I have a need to cut some 3/16" and 1/4" Al
flat bar (maybe some brass too) but don't have a band saw, does anyone
have any suggestions for cutting it using a table saw? Such as will
it work and what kind of blade to use? I'd think of using an abrasive
blade but am afraid of leaving abrasive material embedded in the soft
aluminium.

Thanks,

John

I work for a href="https://www.aluminiumtrading.co.za"Aluminium Trading/a and we cut aluminium daily - See he a href="https://www.aluminiumtrading.co.za/services/Our Services/a We use a negative rake blade for some aluminium sections. It certainly makes it a lot more manageable on a table saw and does not leave abrasive material as you described.
